Cura: The Practical Protection Podcast – Episode 7 – Stroke

In Episode 7 we welcome our second special guest to the Practical Protection Podcast, Steve Casey, Marketing Director of Square Health. Steve has worked within the financial services for many years, but the main reason he is here to chat with us is that in 2018 Steve had a stroke, he talks about this, his recovery and we discuss with him his experience of making a claim on his critical illness cover after the stroke.

Our 3 key takeaways:

  1. 1.     The FAST stroke test.
  2. 2.     You do not always experience facial weakness and loss of arm strength, when having a stroke.
  3. 3.     Two case study clients that had experienced strokes, that were able to access protection insurance.
